I agree with Yihsieh the most. Because she has the same growing background as us. And I also grow up with Doraemon cartoon, manga and I have ever watched Dragonball cartoon. Moreover, many stationaries or little stuffs always use these cute Japan cartoon characters to be mascots. And that is so popular not only for children but for adults. Actually, I also didn't view the anime as a different medium from other animation.
